The Apothecary: Celebrating Five Years

The Apothecary is celebrating five years of business!

We will be serving our original opening cocktail menu from summer 2013 as well as our classic cocktails, beer and wine. We will also have a late night dinner popup from 9 p.m. – close featuring chef Hunter Evans from Lou’s Full Serv.

“I am super excited to celebrate five years of the Apothecary, my favorite bar in Jackson,” Evans says. “The menu will be fun and playful. We’re serving some creative hot dogs like a bahn mi dog as well as a couple of dogs inspired by cities known for their classics like New York and Chicago. We’ll also have some fun sides to go along with the hot dogs and birthday cake.”

The Apothecary opened in summer of 2013 as the first cocktail bar in Jackson. Partnering with Cure, a cocktail bar in New Orleans who just recently won the James Beard Award for Best Bar Program, The Apothecary was created to be an oasis in the city serving excellent classic cocktails and original “prescription” cocktails inspired by Brent’s Drugs rich history as a soda fountain and pharmacy.

The Apothecary family has worked very hard over the years to create a special place and we are looking forward to the years ahead.
