The precautionary boil water notice for the following residents on the City of Jackson drinking water system is now lifted:

39201, 39203, 39204, 39206, 39211, 39213, 39216, 39217, 39209, 39212 and 39272. This includes all of Fondren and LeFleur East.

The following areas remain under that notice:

Presidential Hills subdivision, Myrtle St, Devine St, Howard St, Piedmont St, St Mary St, St Ann St, Lyncrest Ave, Linden Pl, Peachtree St, Hazel St, Edgewood St, Pine St, Peachtree St, Belvoir St, Belmont St, Ivy St, Laurel St, Euclid Ave, Oakwood St, Fairview St, Arlington St, Belhaven St, Pinehurst St and the 1400 and 1500 block of Greymont, all in Belhaven.

On Friday, November 30, the City of Jackson Water/Sewer Utilities Division had issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to losses in water pressure in Belhaven on a 36″ main.

This notice affected approximately 60,000 connections on the drinking water system.
