Fondren Renaissance (FRF) has introduced a new way to support their ongoing mission of community enhancement.
An online silent auction, launched today at 32auctions.com/Fondren, offers many packages ranging from travel, dining and collectibles to gift cards from Fondren merchants, as well as artwork.
Auction items on the site include a two-night stay in Oxford for the annual Double Decker Festival, a Memphis Mud Island weekend package, Cedars Juried Show art and gift certificates to local businesses like Campbell’s Bakery, The Apothecary and Rooster’s.
“As you have seen first-hand, the work of FRF is vital to the continued success of our neighborhood and in order for us to maintain and broaden our current momentum, it requires a further investment in the programming services and events that our organization provides,” FRF said.
Organizational projects include management of a business improvement district for the downtown Fondren historic district; launching of the Mississippi Food and Wine Festival; development of a Fondren security district for residents with city cooperation; Adopt-a-School partnerships with Boyd Elementary; and continued events like Symphony at Sunset, Fondren Unwrapped and the Mississippi Craft Beer Festival.
The auction is open now through 10 p.m. on September 30. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Fondren Renaissance.
