The Mississippi List, an annually curated, reader-nominated collection of what to eat, where to stay and what to do in the state is lending a hand to Refill Café.
In a Facebook Live video, the Mississippi List’s Andy Chapman told his followers he’s donating a portion of sales to the café, a holistic workforce training restaurant to open later this year in West Jackson. Restauranteur Jeff Good is a driving force and partner in helping the café come to fruition.
“These are $97,” Chapman said of The Mississippi List’s Mississippi Perks Pass. “With our partnership with Jeff Good, for a couple of weeks, I want to sell 100 of these. For every one we sell, we’re going to give $50 to the Refill Café to prop them up, help them get rolling on their basic needs.”
But the deal gets better: the passes are being offered two for one for $97. “Which means you’ve get one you can keep and use and [one] you can give to a friend,” Chapman said.
Offers detailed in the video come from Good’s own restaurants in Jackson and stops in Oxford, Vicksburg, Ocean Springs and Biloxi (a 50% off a stay at the White House Hotel there is pointed out.)
“It’s like a little passport that will help you find places to eat, stay and play,” Chapman explained before pointing out an additional loyalty card that’s also included.
“I need your help,” Good told Chapman. “And you’ve got a great product here.”
