Fondren-based Ardenland has announced the lineup for the June 1 and 2 Cathead Jam, celebrating the 8th birthday of Cathead Vodka.

Moon Taxi and Black Pistol Fire join Elliot Root on Friday evening, June 1 at the downtown distillery and event grounds.

The Saturday lineup includes JJ Grey and Mofro, Hard Working Americans, Leftover Salmon, Luthi and The Busty Petites.

Cathead Jam 2018 provides a unique festival experience, held on the campus of the Cathead Distillery, the first “legal” distillery in Mississippi’s history, located at the corner of Court and Farish Streets.

The two-day event features a wide selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails (all tips going to charity) along with a diverse selection of food vendors present throughout the weekend. Plenty of family-friendly activities take place throughout the day on Saturday. Children 10 and under are admitted free.

Tickets are on sale at or charge by phone at 877.987.6487. A weekend pass is $50 (Friday tickets are $30 and Saturday tickets are $40. These advance tickets are limited and prices will go up the week of the Jam.)
