St. Dominic’s recently opened its Cancer Boutique, a special boutique committed to helping cancer patients and survivors look and feel their best before, during and after cancer treatment.

The first of its kind in the Jackson area, St. Dominic’s Cancer Boutique offers products and services that help minimize the effects of cancer therapy.

The boutique carries a large assortment of surgical garments, mastectomy bras, mastectomy forms and swimwear, lymphedema sleeves, head scarves and wraps, DermaQol Skincare, wicking garments for night sweats, and specialty gift items. The boutique also offers one-on-one care for mastectomy patients, including a private fitting room and mastectomy fitter.

“The idea to open a cancer boutique came to me 10 months ago after I had a personal experience with someone who had a mastectomy,” said Debbie Jansen, Director of Retail Services at St. Dominic’s. “I realized there was a tremendous need in our market for a location where women would be able to go for all their mastectomy needs in a peaceful, cozy setting.”

St. Dominic’s Cancer Boutique is located on the first floor of St. Dominic’s West Tower inside the Spa at St. Dominic’s. The boutique is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, call 601-200-5111.
