It was a major win on Saturday May 18. Millsaps College Freshman Isaac Glenn’s two-out rbi single scored Blake Littlejohn and the Majors walked off to a 7-6 victory and a 2013 South Regional Title. The Majors now head to the school’s first ever College World Series to be played beginning Friday May 24 in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The D-III World Series bracket has been released and you can pencil in the Southern Maine Huskies as the champions of the Harwich regional. Millsaps will play the northeast team at 10am on Friday May 24, the first game of the series, at Fox Cities Stadium. Update: In game one on Friday morning, the Southern Maine Huskies scored a run in the tenth, besting the Majors in extra innings 2-1. The team played the Ithaca Bombers with a 5-2 loss on Saturday, ending the most successful season in Millsaps Majors baseball history.
