The Fondren Renaissance Foundation, along with all Fondren organizations, will hold a press conference today at 10:00 a.m. outside Duling Hall to announce plans for the 2nd Fondren’s Zippity Doo Dah® Weekend and Festival in Fondren.

The Zippity Doo Dah® Parade Weekend event will bring thousands to Fondren over the weekend of March 22-25, culminating with the Zippity Doo Dah® Parade on Saturday night. Fondren is honored to have Dr. Carolyn Myers, JSU president, serve as Grand Marshall of the parade. Free to the public, monies raised over the weekend will benefit the children of Blair E. Batson Hospital.

In case you can’t make the conference, The Jackson Convention and Visitor’s Bureau will stream the event live online.
