There’s an exciting development at Fondren’s new co-working space at Banner Hall: Creative Distillery’s first desk has been rented in the coworking side of the space, The Creative Loft. Joel Anderson is a fourth-year Industrial Design student at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). CD says they are glad to have Anderson with them until he returns to school in January. The young designer’s focus is mainly in the realms of Industrial design and service design. Anderson’s designs range from transportation to phone applications, and his design philosophy is “clean and simple.” The SCAD student says he chose to co-op a space to be more productive, getting away from his tv and bed, as well as having the opportunity to interact with other designers.
