In the kitchen today is Chef Dan Blumenthal at Sal & Mookie’s. Along with business partner Jeff Good, he created this New York style pizza and ice cream joint just over four years ago. This “best restaurant for kids” (lauded many years over by Mississippi Magazine’s annual reader’s poll) serves made-from-scratch pizza, pasta, paninis and more. Kids (and adults) enjoy the in-house scoop shop with a multitude of flavors and toppings plus chef -created specialty desserts. And up front, Pi(e) Lounge is a favorite for the after work happy hour crowd or lunchtime diner wanting to grab a quick bite. We think it’s the perfect place to take the family for a treat – TONIGHT!
