Fondren After 5 – Always First Thursdays – is a neighborhood open house with opportunities to enjoy good food from one of our nearly two dozen restaurants, bakeries, bars and coffee shops and shop with our unique mix of merchants, mixed in with street-side fun.

September – Throwback Thursday

Hops and Habanas, in conjunction with Cups Espresso Cafe in Fondren, have collaborated to bring to the neighborhood a night filled with #ThrowbackThursday activities. We know you are used to strolling the main street at the top of the hill, but you have to make sure to check out all the fun#UnderTheHill

Throwback at Cups will feature:
• Inaugural Leslee Foukal Robot Costume Contest
• Day of High Five’s
• Return of Golfball Spinning
• Vintage Game Consoles
• Tabletop Board Games
• Return of the Daisy Mae frappe

Throwback at Hops will feature:
• Polaroid booth
• Live Entertainment (Seth Power, Jesse Cotton Stone, Bradley Bankestar, and Chris Larkins)
• Food Trucks
• Old Skool Gaming Systems
• Beer Trailer
•Twister Competition
• Sidewalk art and kids’ activities
