The 2016 Honda Civic LX-P CVT two-door coupe

Patty Peck Honda is at it again.

The Ridgeland car dealer is generously giving a seventh car in as many years to raise funds for Friends of Children’s Hospital.

You could win a 2016 Honda Civic LX-P CVT two-door coupe in Aegean blue metallic in the Patty Peck Honda Doo Dah Day™ Blue Car Giveaway. Tickets are $20 each with a grand prize drawing May 4 during Arts, Eats & Beats. All proceeds benefit the children and families of Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.

While the fund-raising contest has been going the last few weeks, the raffle is just getting started.

Fondren Renaissance, who is overseeing this year’s giveaway, began drawing finalists about a week ago and already, three key winners have been named. Stan Jones, Eboni LeFlore and Rosemary Durfey will join seven additional key finalists, to be drawn over the next two weeks, in the grand prize giveaway. In other words, the earlier you buy, the more chances you have to win (all names go back in the hat for the next drawing.)

Last year’s winner, Ashley Nolen, was one of the most enthusiastic in the contest’s history and said she had a two-fold reason for buying tickets. “Who doesn’t want to win a brand new car?” she asked in promotional video for this year’s contest. “When I heard the proceeds were benefiting Blair E. Batson, it made it an easy decision (to buy tickets).”

“The hospital needs our support and this is an easy ask,” says Jeff Good, part owner of Sal & Mookie’s, whose annual street carnival – a fundraiser for Batson – was cancelled this year due to weather. “Your $20, my $20, his and her $20 all adds up fast. And it makes a huge difference for the kids.”

Tickets are available here. Buy five tickets and get a sixth ticket free!
