Fondren’s got fleas.

On Saturday, March 25, many neighborhood businesses, churches and a handful of residents will participate in the 2nd annual Fondren Flea.

Billed as “Mississippi’s largest outdoor sale,” the event is presented by Fondren Renaissance.

A list of sales and their locations, posted to FRF’s website at fondren.org/fondrenflea, shows nine spots on Duling Green (next to Babalu), sixteen business and church sales, and seven residential sales, scattered from the very south end to the north end of the neighborhood.

Larger by far than last year’s inaugural event, FRF says it is a great way to facilitate an effort that highlights neighborhood merchants with the added bonus of church and individual sales.

“Rain or shine,” says FRF Executive Director Jim Wilkirson, “we hope bargain hunters will take advantage of the day – and grab a bite to eat with one of our many restaurants.”
