Join Fondren Renaissance Foundation for the second concert of the C Spire Summer Music Series at The Cedars. Playing on the front porch from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. will be the Vernon Brothers. Featuring a mixture of hillbilly, blues and country, this local band is sure to please all types of music lovers. This concert is dubbed ”True South Classic Night” and will feature “finger golf”.
Zelosports, a national company that has developed sports games built around the idea of “finger sports” will be with us. You will not want to miss playing a “round of golf” on the actual layout of the “greens at Annandale”. Don’t worry though, no caddies and clubs required! All it takes is a little finger finesse with the table green and ball provided. Prizes, including tickets to this week’s golf pro am at Annandale, will be awarded throughout the evening.
Invite your friends and neighbors and bring a blanket and picnic supper to enjoy an evening of great music and hilarious “golf” fun. Although we ask you to bring your own food, beverages* will be available for purchase (no beverage coolers, please). As last time, we will be featuring a variety of summer craft beer selections from Southern Beverage and soft drinks and water will be available from our friends at Pepsi and Brown Bottling.
Join us at The Cedars, 4145 Old Canton Road. Remember that parking is easy and available at St. Andrew’s Lower School and that security crossing is provided.
