The readers of the Jackson Free Press have spoken – and crowned the winners of this year’s “best of” in their current edition. A party was held last night at the King Edward Hotel in downtown Jackson celebrating the achievements of the honorees. Find It In Fondren™ congratulates every winner, but especially those in Fondren. But there’s a really special place in our heart for those who are our partners. We say a well-deserved “kudos” to the following:
Bob’s Custom Hair Designs, Brent’s Drugs, Broad Street Baking Company, Brown’s Fine Art and Framing, circa. URBAN ARTISAN LIVING, Cups, Fondren Art Gallery, Fondren Cellars, Fondren Guitars, Mangia Bene, McDade’s, Mimi’s Family and Friends, Nick’s, Sal and Mookie’s New York Pizza Joint, Sneaky Beans, Good Samaritan Center, The Shoebar at Pieces, and Walker’s Drive-In. And we would be remiss if not to say that Fondren placed second in “best thing about Jackson, only behind “the people” as the first place winner. We think those go hand in hand.
JFP readers, you have found what we experience and celebrate every day: the best that Jackson has to offer in the best neighborhood in the City!
The beautiful cover artwork seen here is an original of Tony Davenport whose work is available at circa. URBAN ARTISAN LIVING in Fondren.
