Overby and her children with Jeff Good of Broad Street and David Waugh, Fondren Association of Businesses

Congratulations to Amanda Overby, a Fondren resident, who “found Fonzy” and won the Fondren Renaissance Foundation and Fondren Association of Businesses’ holiday giveaway! FRF Executive Director Jim Wilkirson said the winning entrant spotted Fonzy at Broad Street Baking Company and logged on to Fondren.org. When she reported the reindeer’s location, she was registered to win gift certificates worth $500 from her choice of eighteen participating merchants. Wilkirson said this year’s hunt netted almost four times the amount of entries they had last year. “We’re overwhelmingly pleased with the participation,” he said. Entries were received from all over the metro area and even as far away as Atlanta, Georgia and Shreveport, Louisiana.
