In what should be an entertaining reading, the author shares from the book at 5:30pm. Offering profiles of cultural icons and literary pioneers such as Charlie Chan, Norman Mailer and Bob Dylan, the acclaimed cultural critic presents a new collection of essays and writings on music, film, literature and politics that explore the American landscape and cultural traditions.

On Wednesday, join author Seetha Srinivasan for a signing and reading of Way to Serve: The Mississippi Nurses Association, 1911-2011. The book is an account of how the action of these women resulted in the establishment of a professional organization that, from its very beginnings, has served with distinction nursing in Mississippi. The signing is at 5pm while the reading is at 5:30pm.

If humor is your thing, join Lemuria Thursday at 5pm for a signing of Darth Paper Strikes Back: An Origami Yoda Book by Tom Angleberger. It’s being called a ‘hilarious, clever, and much-anticipated follow-up to the breakout hit, The Strange Case of Origami Yoda‘ A reading takes place at 5:30pm.
