The Belmont University Chamber Choir of Nashville, Tennessee will be performing a free concert at St. James’ Episcopal Church on Sunday March 6, at 5:00 P.M. The Chamber Singers is a choral ensemble comprised of about twenty-five singers who perform a variety of music styles from Pre-Renaissance to Twentieth Century. The ensemble embraces unaccompanied music as a primary focus and the music is learned without the aid of a piano at anytime during the process. The singers are expected to listen to the ensemble and offer suggestion about the sound being created at every stage of a composition’s development.
