Classic southern comfort foods, drink, and music were on the menu tonight and that’s just the beginning. Broad Street Baking Company hosted Americana Night with Chef Peyton Warren’s beef short ribs, hand battered rings, beans, and mac and cheese, and even a “ding dong” type cupcake. Let’s not forget the gin and lemonade infused drink, and the classic iceberg wedge salad. Diners enjoyed a serenade as well with Broad Street’s own Aven Whittington and his band, The Hustlers.
Manager Christianne Barrow said the special events continue with Mardi Gras Night slated for February 24 and an Irish night set for March 17. Some customers asked that Americana Night return again in time for summer!
