Sneaky Beans

We are often asked “who is ____” or “what does ______ have?”  So we thought, with Christmas cash likely burning a hole in your pocket, we’d give you an ‘after Christmas’ gift guide! While you’re shopping with these advertisers, thank them for their contributions to making Fondren a great place to shop, dine, live, work, play, and ride! This is the first in a series of pieces this week. Look for more in the coming days.

Sneaky Beans is a great little coffee shop on State Street, featuring coffees from High Point Coffee Company in Oxford, MS. This is also a great place to see local art and hear live music.

Circa. is one of Fondren’s newest, in the Rainbow Plaza next to Rainbow Co-Op. Described as functional artistic living, this one of a kind shop features American, hand crafted works of art. For body, garden, fashion, decor, and more, see Circa when they return on January 3.

Fondren Guitars is every musician’s dream, with vintage and new instruments, along with knowledgeable staff who not only sell you the right gear, but can repair it – and teach you how to play it!

Sal & Mookie’s New York style pizza, paninis, & pasta, a flavorful ice cream shop, and a chill lounge called Pi(e). One bite, and you’ll understand why this place stays filled with regulars year round.

Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe is the sister eatery to Sal & Mookie’s and is located in north Fondren in Banner Hall. Signature sandwiches and fresh baked goods abound, along with breakfast favorites like Belgian waffles and pastries. Save room for dessert!

Good Samaritan Center and their resale shop, N.U.T.S., is located just outside of Fondren, but they do so much good all over Jackson! Helping families in need, Good Sam is the sponsor of the annual 12k holiday race!
